Why choose a daybed?
A day bed gives you extra seating and a spare bed in one piece of furniture, so it saves space in smaller rooms. With cushions along the back it looks like a sofa during the day, and it is ready for an overnight guest in seconds. Unlike most sofa beds, there is no mechanism to unfold: your guest sleeps on a proper single mattress.
