Our floor standing headboards are full-length headboards that stand on the floor behind your bed, so there is nothing to bolt on and no drilling needed. Each one is handmade to order in our Birmingham workshop, in the size, height, fabric and colour you choose.

Why choose a floor standing headboard?

A floor standing headboard is the easiest way to give any bed a tall, tailored look. It simply stands between your bed and the wall, so it works with divan beds, bed frames and ottoman bases of the matching width. Because it reaches all the way to the floor, it looks solid and built-in, and it is easy to move when you decorate.

Designs to suit every bedroom

Choose from vertical fluted and channelled panels, wingback styles that wrap around your pillows, deep buttoned and Chesterfield designs, and clean, simple shapes. Many of our headboards match our ottoman storage beds, so you can keep the same style throughout your bedroom.

Sizes and heights

Our floor standing headboards come in standard UK bed widths from 3ft single to 6ft super king, with a choice of heights on each design. Taller headboards make a real statement in rooms with higher ceilings. Exact sizes and heights are shown on each product page.

Fabrics and colours

Choose from Atlanta Soft Teddy, Smooth Velvet, Linen-Textured, Chenille and Wool-Textured Tweed in a wide range of colours. Order free fabric samples to see them at home before you buy.

Does a floor standing headboard need fixing?
No. It stands on the floor between your bed and the wall, held in place by the bed. There is no drilling and nothing to bolt on.
